If San Martin keeps on this trajectory, they will evolve into a genuine threat to the likes of Citizen, Seiko and Orient for sure. I like this one a lot, even though it is not perfect. Roll on the V2. Cheers, Jody

Everything is more expensive than it used to be in 2023… apart from a cracking Casio watch! Plenty to like here, very similar functions to the AE1300, so it comes down to looks, and how many slots you have left in your watch box. Cheers, Jody

Shout out to Zane for selling me the King. Looks like it might need a trip back to the service department though! This watch deserves a better movement, the whole sub brand deserves a better movement. Will it get one? Doubt it! For half price though, it was well worth taking the chance, and it is a wee stunner. Well, it has been a while since I bought a dud like this one. I mean, it isn’t awful, just unuseable. Ahaahahahaha! Great laugh though. And the other two make up for it. I swapped the Lobbini for some grey suede already and it looks AWESOME. Cheers, Jody
