Well, this one began with a kind and generous offer from a subscriber, Tyler from California, waaaaay back at the beginning of December. Nearly 4 months to service a Seiko?! I’m still not sure what took them so long. Don’t expect the running costs of your Seiko to be much less than a Swiss watch, certainly not if you get Seiko to service it. Cheers, Jody

Yes, I start with a bit of a plug for a podcast I was a guest on. It was a lot of fun, and hopefully not the last one I do. Check out Rick and Rikki at Scottish Watches, they don’t take themselves seriously, which is a very Scottish trait.

On to the watch. My first Nodus and a beauty it is too. Slightly unusual case shape aside, this one amply justifies it price tag. From assembly in LA, to the CNC machining and the excellent quality bracelet. Very nice indeed! Cheers, Jody
