If you are a regular here, you know that I am a fan of Straton. A clean design direction, a clear design inspiration from the watches of the 1970s. The Tourer is like 6 watches in 1. or is that 90 watches in 1….. Anyway, you can’t say that there aren’t enough options for you, that’s for sure. I like the 43mm, and the GMT, and the Gold/Brown colours, true to form. Don’t forget that they become $49USD LESS appealing in a few days time. Cheers, Jody.

I didn’t get any watches for Christmas, so I’m gonna unbox these two instead and pretend people love me. I have been itching to get into the Kamasu since it arrived, and I wasn’t disappointed. The Bulova looks amazing, but is it too big for me? You tell me! Cheers, Jody

So, another Zelos and it is another cracker. No real surprises there, they are a well established company, using a great manufacturer, who consistently improve their models with each run. Truly the advantage of being a small and agile brand. Who knew!

This is a bit of a beast at 18mm thick and 240g, far too big for me to consider, but if you think that 40mm is an, ahem, ‘ladies watch’, then this might fit the bill. Cheers, Jody

Can you see a theme here? I think that Seiko missed a major trick by not making the SLA017 affordable and unlimited. I also think they have missed a trick by not making a bronze watch of any kind. Just as well the Chinese have little respect for IP, eh?! A solid offering if you fancy some budget bronze. And definitely GO GREEN! Cheers, Jody
