Zelos are pumping out watches so fast, I can’t keep up! Is this a good thing though? When I reviewed the Swordfish back in November, it seems like they hadn’t tested the clasp. Now, erm, same again with the Abyss. Perhaps they shoudl slow down a bit and make sure their products are 100% before shipping them to reviewers and paying punters. The chrono is a cracker though. Well, this is new(ish)! The design is from late 2017, but they changed the factory that produces them, and the result is a much better watch. Solid, chunky, and well made……. with the exception of the light bezel. A bit surprising that, perhaps it was just mine. Let’s hope they fix it for the Wave Master 1.5.5! Cheers, Jody

So, I reviewed the Q last year, and I thought it was fun but flimsy and overpriced. Guess what? The auto is exactly the same! But even more expensive. Be my guest, if you want it, but be aware that you aren’t getting much for your money, and you may end up flipping it at a loss without wearing it much. Cheers, Jody

My most ambitious mod project so far! (I swear I say that every time……) But seriously, those tiny chrono hands were a nightmare. But, I got the job done, somehow. I actually really like it. So, I finally picked up a ‘5KX’. Not because I really wanted to, but because I felt that I had to. And it sat, unloved in the box in my house for 6 weeks before I even sized the bracelet – REJECTED! It’s not bad, but it’s kinda like my stepmum, and I miss my real mum. Cheers, Jody
