The Mercedes Concept GLA previews the car maker’s crossover SUV, ahead of the production version being unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt motor show. The GLA is based on the same platform as the Mercedes A-Class, B-Class and CLA and will be the first small SUV ever sold by Mercedes in the UK. It will give the marque a competitor to the Range Rover Evoque, Audi Q3 and BMW X1 and has a modern design with a coupe-like roofline and projector headlamps.
