Everyone has heard of the Super Mario Bros. Seriously, if you haven’t by now, you must be living under a rock. The video game franchise created by Nintendo is recognizable to both gamers and non-gamers alike which definitely says something about it’s popularity. Whether it’s playing the legendary Super Mario Bros. platformer games for the NES and SNES or having an awesome time with your friends playing Mario Kart, these games are incredibly fun to play.

Unlike some other Mario characters like Bowser and Wario, Princess Peach is a genuinely good person who cares about her friends. She may not be fit to lead a kingdom seeing as she’s always getting kidnapped, but that must be what comes with fame in the Mushroom Kingdom. Peach is pretty much a professional damsel in distress and Mario falls for it every single time. When Peach is in the clutches of Bowser, she often becomes brainwashed, possessed and enchanted under his influence. This could simply be Stockholm Syndrome or maybe she actually enjoys Bowser’s company? Either way, she turns into a completely different person, a terrible person.

Well, that must be how things work in the Mushroom Kingdom and while Princess Peach has done some awful things in her life, most of them were not completely her fault. When Bowser digs his claws into you, nothing good can come of it. Without further ado, here are 10 seriously terrible things Princess Peach has done. Enjoy!

Thanks to games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, the horror genre has really taken off. Now with graphic and controller innovation, it has become a lot easier to create an innovative and truly horrific gaming experience. The following games have creepy moments, scary monsters and can be absolutely terrifying.

In Little Nightmares, you control a small girl as she travels through a world of giants. The music, atmosphere, and obstacles all add to the intensity of the game. Stories Untold combines the scariness of classic text adventures with 3D horror elements for an atmospheric experience. Join a friend to play Hide and Shriek, a multi-player game where your goal is to scare the other player. Until Dawn is a beautifully crafted horror game that feels like an actual horror movie. Dead by Daylight puts you in the position of either the killer or the victim as you fight to survive. Strap on your VR and get scared in the horror mystery game Dead Secret. The game features an exploration of an old house after the owner goes missing. Jason Voorhees comes to life in the official Friday the 13th game filled with homages and reference to all the original movies. The Forest is a crazy survival game that mixes thrills with scares. The Evil Within takes you on a crazy horror adventure filled with traps and monsters. Dying Light is a unique zombie survival game filled with mystery and scary elements. Watch to see all of these scary game and chose which ones you want to try and play!

The Mario Brothers franchise has been a staple of the video game industry since Nintendo became a household name. Through numerous main titles and a variety of spin-offs, Mario has captured the hearts of many gamers around the world. Every aspect of the Mario franchise has also worked it’s way into popular culture over the years and it’s nearly impossible to find someone who is not familiar with the princess rescuing plumber.

With Nintendo’s release of the new Nintendo Switch, it would be a misstep on their part to completely forget about their most beloved character. Fans can usually count on Nintendo releasing at least one new Mario title with every new console release and Nintendo did not disappoint. With the announcement of the Nintendo Switch at E3 2017, fans were certain they would see another new Mario title for the system and they were correct. Nintendo not only created a new Mario title specifically for the Switch, but they pulled out all the stops to create a truly unique Mario title which should prove to be inventive and, most of all, fun.

Super Mario Odyssey boasts new game mechanics as well as different outfits for Mario. Changes to Mario’s cap result in a new way to play the game as well as a new sentient friend for Mario in the form of Cappy. With dinosaurs roaming the Kingdom, Mario and Cappy can take control of various enemies throughout the game. With so many new additions to Mario, it’s easy to see that this game will be a hit upon its release in October 2017.
