No two sets of fictional characters define the word “misfits” more than Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and DC’s Suicide Squad do.

Both of those teams have made their way to the big screen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the DC Extended Universe respectively – and it’s fair to say they’ve done so with extremely mixed results (the Guardians’ movies are universally loved, while Suicide Squad was widely panned).

But which of these two iconic comic book movie teams would win if they ever came to blows with each other? In this video, that’s exactly what we’ll be discussing in order to come up with an answer to that question.

James Gunn brought the Guardians to the big screen in the MCU and, since he was sacked by Disney for inappropriate historic tweets, he’s been linked with taking over the reins on the next DCEU Suicide Squad movie – which is why this video exists.

We’ll be discussing the two teams’ individual members, how the two teams would react to each other, their power levels, their intelligence levels and preparation capabilities, how well they work as a team and, ultimately, which team is better.

Many of the best actors of the 20th and 21st Century follow the method. A style of acting that allows them to create and inhabit full bodied/three-dimensional characters. The solution the method offers is a process that has actors become the part they’re playing, in some way at least. Sure, you might have heard the famous stories of Dustin Hoffman sleeping on a park bench and making his life a living a hell for some parts. We’re here to ask: is it worth it? Well, if it means success and respect as an actor in the industry, then yes. But it’s not all sunshine and roses and acceptance speeches in the Kodak Theater. Acting is a tough business, full of rejection, risk and demanding methods. Here are 10 actors so impacted by their preparation for their roles that they forgot who they were.

We have Daniel Day-Lewis in literally everything – including Last of the Mohicans, the Crucible and Gangs of New York. There’s Val Kilmer in Oliver Stone’s, The Doors. We have Gene Hackman working outside of the confines of the law in The French Connection and Nicolas Cage working outside the confines of reality in Ghost Rider. Shia Labeouf made some inspired choices in Fury while Jared Leto made his mark in Suicide Squad. Robert De Niro proved he could be as creepy as he is good.
