Exploring the Cinematic Universe(s)! – CineFix Now Roundtable

Looks like everyone is jealous of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so everyone’s trying to keep up. And a bunch of other studios, production companies, are trying to get in on the Movie Universe game.

Most notably, Sony is spending $2M to re-brand Robin Hood to be the cornerstone of his own cinematic universe: http://goo.gl/gurZ1D

In ever-expanding TV universes, we’ve got Better Call Saul expanding the Breaking Bad ‘verse, and a Walking Dead prequel.

Fox is eyeing having it’s own end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Possibly with a TV component of its own.
