David Freiburger claims that this road trip on this episode of Roadkill is the most stupid thing that he and Mike Finnegan have ever done. Freiburger wanted to do a Jeep trip, so Finnegan bought an old Willys flatfender–one that had been turned into a two-wheel-drive rat rod using some very sketchy fabrication. The guys made it semi-safe, then hit the road to drive to the Desert Bar in Parker, Arizona, where they sold the Jeep to a guy for the price of their bar tab. 2013 GEICO Endurocross Series debuts live from Las Vegas, NV on the Motor Trend Channel! Tune in at 8:00 PM PST on Friday May 3rd 2013.

EnduroCross tracks incorporate various elements of extreme off road racing into a Supercross-style setting, including rocks, boulders, logs, sand, mud, a water-hole…and even a few special obstacles like giant tires thrown in! Known as the “toughest racing on two wheels,” this indoor off road racing will certainly keep you on your feet.

Special guest Ian Callum, Director of Design at Jaguar, sits down with Angus MacKenzie, Ed Loh, Kim Reynolds and Jonny Lieberman to talk about the new Jaguar F-Type and the inspiration behind the new two seater. The completely new roadster, arguably Jaguar’s first pure bred sports car in decades, pays homage to the spirit of the E-Type of the ’60s and ’70s and features a range of powertrain options; from a 340-hp 3.0L supercharged V-6 to a 5.0L supercharged V-8 making nearly 500 horsepower.

The crew also discusses the challenges of balancing engineering with design, and the safety regulations and legal limitations that need to be factored into designing a car.

On this week’s episode of The Downshift, we catch up with Murph, who set off 3 years ago to ride his BMW R 1150 GS Adventure motorcycle around the world. Since Murph lives on his motorcycle and was planning to drive in snow and ice, the bike had to be modified to the extreme. Added was a Mobec Duo-Drive 2wd Sidecar for carrying all of his possessions as well as tons of other custom bits to deal with the freezing cold. With his new kit assembled, Murph decided to spend the winter exploring the Arctic Circle.

On this episode of Ignition, Angus Mackenzie pays a visit to Molsheim, France to explore the history and development behind the world’s most expensive street legal super car, the Bugatti Veyron. The Veyron has a turbocharged 16-cylinder engine that makes more than 1000hp, can accelerate to 60mph in about 2.7 seconds, goes faster than 250mph, and costs well over a million dollars. Afterwards, Angus then heads to Ehra-Lessien near Wolfsburg, Germany to witness the next iteration of the Veyron, the Vitesse, take on a top speed record challenge, before ultimately getting behind the wheel himself.
