UFC 200 Embedded: Vlog Series – Episode 6

On Episode 6 of UFC 200 Embedded, light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier struggles to make sense of the news that Jon Jones has been pulled from the event, soldiering on in his weight cut despite not knowing who he will now fight. Featherweight Frankie Edgar reacts to the situation, his opponent Jose Aldo reveals a secret weight-cutting weapon and heavyweight Mark Hunt’s family arrives in Las Vegas. Then Cormier gets a phone call that changes his mood, and former middleweight champion Anderson Silva beefs up for his new weight class. UFC 200 Embedded is an all-access, behind-the-scenes video blog leading up to the two championship fights, two heavyweight collisions and the newly-made Cormier-Silva bout at the historic UFC 200, taking place Saturday, July 9 on Pay-Per-View.

On Episode 5 of UFC 200 Embedded, featherweight title contender Jose Aldo arrives in the States sporting a new look. Aldo’s opponent Frankie Edgar dresses up for the event’s official press conference, where stars including Brock Lesnar, Mark Hunt, Miesha Tate, Amanda Nunes and Jon Jones hold court. But the card is dealt a massive blow when UFC president Dana White delivers a bombshell – and the fighters reel from the impact at Thursday’s open workouts. A day later, former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones wins the interim title, positioning him to face champion Daniel Cormier once “DC” has recovered from injury.
