Welcome back, ScreenRanters! We’re delighted you’ve decided to return! By May 2020, the Black Widow film will be released globally. It’ll be the first film to kick-off Marvel’s Phase Four. But since the events of Avengers: Endgame, this will likely be the last time Scarlett Johansson suits up for the role. As the film’s events are taking place before Avengers: Infinity War, but after Captain America: Civil War, there’s a lot of questions about what the story will be. What we do know for certain is that Taskmaster will be facing off with Natasha Romanoff. However, we also have a theory that may shape the MCU for years to come! More so than Thanos! Yep, high expectations!

It’s going to begin with the character of Crossbones. As we know from Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Crossbones is a baddie. He helped destroy SHIELD for Hydra. After his battle with Falcon, Sam Wilson, he disappears. Well, by the time we see him in Civil War, just before the Scarlet Witch gets involved, Crossbones is stealing for someone secret. That person could be Spider-Man foe, Norman Osbourne! But not in his Green Goblin persona. Instead, he may use elements from Secret Invasion. HAMMER and the Dark Avengers could all be involved. Even his Iron Man armour, Iron Patriot, will be a part of this plan. We’re going to go over how the rise of Osbourne is possible. We’re going to see who could be in his Dark Avengers team. As well as some villainous substitutes for Osbourne. It’s quite a ride. Watch the video!
