Vikings clearly isn’t the first show to dive deep into the history of Europe and different countries like Italy. So why waste huge budgets on building sets, when a bunch of them are already built for you?!

That’s exactly the case for the season 5 episode entitled, “The Plan”. If all the shots in Sicily looked familiar, then you may be a big fan of Orlando Bloom! The same sets were featured in the final siege battle for the 2005 film “Kingdom of Heaven”. Clearly, the production behind the impressive Vikings can get really complicated. Speaking of “bound”, the season one episode “Dispossessed” features one of these mistakes and it all has to do with a priest who has his hands bound together. Vikings has become an iconic title.
