كانت الزوجة الأولى للفنان مصطفى فهمي الإيطالية ماريا بتريشيثا التي أنجب منها ولدين، هما «عمر»، مواليد عام 1984، أي يبلغ 30 عاما، ويعمل في بنك في سويسرا، و«دينا»، مواليد عام 1989، أي يبلغ عمرها 26 عاما، وتحضر الدراسات العليا في إيطاليا في سيكولوجية الأطفال ولم يعمل أي منهما في المجال الفني، واستمر زواجهما لمدة 26 عاما، حتى انتهى بالطلاق في عام 1992.
وعن طريقة اتصاله بهما، قال «مصطفى»: «أسافر إليهما في إجازاتي ويأتيان إلى مصر لتمضية إجازتهما معي، ونتواصل دائما عبر الهاتف والإنترنت ,قال «مصطفى» عن سبب اختياره لزوجة إيطالية في بداية حياته: «في رأيي لا يوجد فرق بين المرأة الأجنبية أو المصرية، فالمرأة هي المرأة أيا كانت جنسيتها، إذا أرادت أن تسعد الرجل فسوف تسعده، وإذا أرادت ألا تسعده فلن تفعل، فالتكوين واحد والاختلاف يكون في أمور بسيطة جدا».
وأضاف: «لذا فإن اختياري لزوجة أجنبية في بداية حياتي لا يتعلق بكونها أجنبية، إنما بتقارب المستوى الفكري والاجتماعي، وهو ما اعتبره أمرا مهما جدا».
ووصف تجربة زواجه، قائلا: «تجربة ناجحة طبعا، بدليل أنها استمرت لمدة ٢٦ سنة، عشنا فيها متفقين في أمور كثيرة جدا، خاصة فيما يتعلق بتربية الأولاد ونتبنى نفس وجهة النظر ونفس
التفكير، واختلافاتنا كانت بسيطة جدا وكان مستوانا الفكري متجانسا، إلا أن هناك ظروفا طرأت بعد فترة وأدت إلى اختلافات ومنها للانفصال».
ثم فاجأ الفنان مصطفى فهمي الوسط الفني في أواخر العام 2007 بإعلان نبأ زواجه بالفنانة رانيا فريد شوقي.. وبذلك أصبحت رانيا شوقي بالنسبة له الزوجة الثانية
وقد استعرضت الفنانة رانيا فريد شوقي الأسباب التي أدت إلى طلاقها من الفنان مصطفى فهمي، ملمحة إلى أنها لم تكن سببا في هذا الطلاق ولم تريده من الأساس.
فقد أوضحت رانيا أن مصطفى فهمي شخص مرتب ومنظم ويعرف كيف يقسم وقته، وهي عكس ذلك تماما، حيث تجد صعوبة في تنظيم وقتها مابين عملها ومنزلها.
إلا أنه بدا واضحا أنها لا تريد الطلاق، وبأن فهمي هو الذي يسعى لذلك حيث قالت في تصريحاتها للإعلامية لميس الحديدي ضمن برنامج “كرسي في الكلوب”: ” لست أنا من رمى (الكرسي في الكلوب)”، وذكرت بأنها حظها سييء خاصة في الزواج، لأن هذا هو طلاقها الثاني.
وقد تم الانفصال بينهما فى عام 2012،
وفي مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي في دورته الـ37 كان الظهور الأول للفنان مصطفى فهمى مع زوجته الثالثة التى خطفت الأنظار, حيث نال فستانها الأحمر إعجاب الحضور
كما أشاد الجميع بجمال وجاذبية زوجة الفنان مصطفى فهمي, في أول ظهور إعلامي لها.
