أحمد حسام (ميدو)، ولد بالقاهرة في 23 فبراير، 1983، لاعب كرة قدم سابق مصري بدأ حياته الكروية لاعباً في نادى الزمالك المصري في عام 1999.
انتقل بعد ذلك إلى نادى جنت البلجيكى في عام 2000. في عام 2001 انتقل إلى نادى اياكس الهولندى والذى من خلاله اعير إلى نادى سلتافيجو الأسبانى في عام 2003.
محطته التالية كانت نادى مارسيليا الفرنسى ثم انتقل بعدها إلى نادى روما الأيطالى في عام 2004 ومنه إلى نادي توتنهام الإنجليزي في عام 2006 .
آخر نادي التحق به هو نادي بارنسلي الإنجليزي منذ منتصف 2012، وكان يلعب في منتخب مصر لكرة القدم منذ عام 2001.وأعلن اعتزاله اللعب نهائياً في ١٠ يونيو ٢٠١٣ .
ثم تولى مهمة المدير الفني لنادي الزمالك ابتداءً من 21 يناير 2014 وحتى 30 يوليو 2014وفاز معه ببطولة كأس مصر وبعد ذلك قرر مجلس إدارة نادي الزمالك المصري برئاسة مرتضى منصور اقالة ميدو وتعين المدرب حسام حسن.
ورحل ميدو البالغ عمره 32 عاما عن الزمالك في يوليو تموز 2014 وتولى بعدها رئاسة قطاع الناشئين بالنادي قبل أن يتولى قيادة الإسماعيلي في ثاني تجاربه التدريب
ثم أعاد الزمالك مهاجمه ومدربه السابق أحمد حسام (ميدو) على رأس الجهاز الفني للفريق بدلا من البرازيلي ماركوس باكيتا الذي شغل المنصب لأقل من شهر واحد.
وكان ميدو مهاجم منتخب مصر والزمالك السابق رحل عن تدريب الاسماعيلي بعد خلاف نشب مع قائد الفريق حسني عبد ربه.
الأزمة مع شحاتة
اللاعب أحمد حسام اعترض على تبديله، حسب زعمه، بصورة غير لائقة في مباراة السنغال في الدور قبل النهائي لكأس الأمم الأفريقية 2006.
عندما قام حسن شحاتة إجراء تبديل بخروج أحمد حسام ونزول عمرو زكي مكانه في مباراة المنتخب المصري امام نظيره السنغالى في الدور قبل النهائي للأمم الأفريقية 2006،
احتج ميدو على التبديل بصورة غير لائقة. وقد وقع الاتحاد المصري عقوبة الإيقاف لمدة 6 أشهر على اللاعب لما بدر منه.
توترت العلاقة بين الرجلين مجددا قبيل
بطولة كأس الأمم الأفريقية 2010 عندما أستبعد شحاتة ميدو من القائمة النهائية بعد استدعائه للقائمة الأولية المستعدة للبطولة. ولكن اعترض ميدو بشدة على طريقة استبعاده
قائلا «علمت باستبعادي عن طريق المواقع الإلكترونية، ولا أعتقد أن هذا هو الأسلوب الأمثل ليتبعه الجهاز الفني للمنتخب»، مضيفا انه شعر بالإهانة.
وانتقد حسام حسن (مدرب ميدو وقتها في نادي الزمالك) حسن شحاتة على طريقة استبعاد ميدو. ومن جانبه، قال الجهاز الفني لمنتخب مصر: “القرار جماعي من الجهاز الفني للمنتخب، ولا علاقة له بالتزام اللاعب من عدمه، بل لأسباب فنية”.

Venomous lionfish, native to parts of the Indian and South Pacific Oceans, have now taken up residence in southeastern waters of the United States and in the Caribbean. With the ability to reproduce quickly and eat just about anything half their size, and with no natural predators in the Atlantic to help keep their population in check, these fish are posing a serious threat to our reefs and native fish populations. Concerned about the impact of lionfish on reefs in the Atlantic, National Geographic Young Explorer Erin Spencer traveled to Florida to see how communities are banding together to remove these fish from their waters. Luckily, lionfish are edible and delicious, making them one of the most sustainable and environmentally friendly fish to eat. So kick back with a plate of lionfish sushi and know you are helping to sustain Atlantic coral reefs at the same time.
