nsidious: Chapter 3 takes place before the main action of the first film. The stars of the first two Insidious films (Rose Byrne, Patrick Wilson, Ty Simpkins), did not return. Dermot Mulroney and Stefanie Scott filled out the main cast.

Casey will let you know how the film stood up, how many times he jumped out of his seat, and whether you need to have seen the first two Insidious films to appreciate this one.
