A Poem For A King…

=====King Kouros=====

For so many years I’ve ignored your charm, and I’ve thought to myself it could do me no harm.

But for all those moments of ignorance and doubt, it’s safe to say I deserve a good clout.

I’ve spent many days filled with frustration, stuck only with, your reformulation.

Seeing others praise you, left me in despair, while they loved and admired you, I pulled out my hair.

Reflecting on times I sat feeling blue, because I didn’t have the guts, to seek the real you.

As the months flew by, it drove me insane, I longed for a vintage, to settle my pain.

I sent YSL an angry letter, I told them flat out, I expected better.

“The scent hasn’t changed” came their reply, their lies upset me, as I started to cry.

I stared at the stars filled with sadness and doubt, “Where are you King Kouros!” I began to shout.

But since I recieved my vintage bottle, my love your heiness, has went to full throttle.

With powerhouse scents, there is always a fight, But now I have found one, that’s made just right.

I’ve missed your scent, for so many years, the mere thought of my ignorance, brings me to tears.

But after so long the time has come now, as I get down on one knee and gracefully bow.

You’ve changed my life, that much is true, words cannot describe, my devotion to you

I no longer dress flash or wear fancy bling.

For now I have you, My Kouros, My King.
