Skeet Shooting, Trout Fishing, & the Turd Confederacy: Keep It Canada (Episode 5)

In this episode of Keep It Canada, Matty heads to the Quebec countryside to hangout with Emma Cardarelli, chef and co-owner of Nora Grey. Emma’s catches quickly outnumbers Matty ten to one when the two go fishing for trout. Before returning their bounty to Nora Grey, they manage to sneak in a quick skeet-shooting session with expert Charles Antoine.

Matty also visits the headquarters of Société-Orignal—plus their offsite beehive, Gourmet Sauvage, and Ferme la Rose Des Vents—to source local ingredients for a huge family-style meal where he prepares whelk pie, tourtiere, and roasted chicken with root vegetables. (Oh, and we should mention that Matty also becomes an official member of the Turd Confederacy.)

في هذا الدرس المقترح لهذا الأسبوع من سلسلة دروس صناعة أشياء مفيدة في المنزل ، سنتطرق إلى كيفية صناعة ملتقط هوائي لاستقبال قنوات HDTV في أجهزة التلفاز الحديثة ، ومعرف أن ثمن الهوائي الخاص بهذه الأجهزة يكون عادة مرتفع ، لكن لن تتصور كيف أن الطريقة سهلة لصناعته في المنزل وبأدوات بسيطة جدا .

سنحتاج في هذه العملية إلى إناء كبيرة ، كلما كان حجمه أكبر كلما كانت النتيجة أفضل ، ثم إلى مسمار صغير ، وكايبل خاص بهذه الأجهزة عادة نستعمله مع الهوائي العادي ، وفي الأخير ستشاهد أن العملية ناجحة ، ويمكن تجربتها في منزلك للتأكد من ذلك.
