What is Elite: Dangerous?

Elite: Dangerous is an upcoming space adventure game complete with trading, & combat simulator. You can pilot spaceships, explore a digital space modeled after the real Milky Way in an open world. The game will be the first in the series to feature massively multiplayer gameplay. Player actions affecting the persistent universe. It is the sequel to Frontier: First Encounters, and the third game in the franchise.
