When Noble Automotive stopped production of the M12 and it’s hardcore variant the M400, fans of this insanely fast car were disappointed. In 2007 Rossion came to the rescue and purchased the rights to the car. Weighing in at about 2500lbs and fitted with a 450hp Twin Turbo Ford V6, the Rossion Q1 has been known to hang with the fastest of supercars. New to their lineup is the RP120, a stripped down racecar powered by a tuned Ford 2.0L Ecoboost engine.
The Downshift appears every other Tuesday on the Motor Trend channel.

The Webb Space Telescope’s eighteen separate mirror segments will be held in place by a graphite structure called a backplane. This one-of-a-kind piece needs to be thermally stable to -400 degrees Fahrenheit (204 degrees Celsius), and hold Webb’s mirror segments steady to within one-ten thousandth the diameter of a human hair. Engineers at ATK in Magna, Utah, take us through the process of designing and creating the backplane.
Water is poured from a bottle and turns to ice instantly.

A friend at work named Lew, who told me you could leave bottles outside overnight in freezing temperatures, then get the water to freeze instantly.

Project History & More Info:
To get this effect, I put unopened bottles of water in the freezer for 90-115 minutes. The water gets supercooled, and when it touches an ice crystal, it turns instantly to ice. It will also do this if the bottle is hit hard enough. The clip at the end is a bottle that was frozen for nearly 2-1/2 hours and the entire bottle froze immediately when I tried to unscrew the cap. Most of them won’t make it that long.
I also picked up some tips from CrazyRussianHacker in his video http://youtu.be/J6pYTOe9zrc
