If you’ve given up searching online for any website that isn’t selling the PS5 for quadruple the price, you’ve probably moved on to trying to find a headset, which has most likely led you to one SteelSeries Arctis 7P Wireless Headset. It’s quite the popular headset right now, but should it be? Considering it’s designed for the PS5, it’s lacking a little bit in terms of versatility. It’s not compatible with the Xbox Series X, but the Arctis 7X is compatible with both ninth generation consoles. Yeah, it’s a bit of a head scratcher.
Regardless as to whether or not you choose the 7P or the 7X, the price will remain the same at $150, which just makes things even more confusing. The 7X will most likely be the better option for you, unless you need a headset for the PS5 and the PS5 only. You see, the Arctis 7P is compatible with Sony’s Tempest 3D Audio Tech, making it the better choice for purely PS5 gamers. That being said, both headsets are very easy to use and are loaded with features that make them some of the best on the market. You honestly can’t go wrong with either of them, which is exactly what I’ve come to expect from SteelSeries.
There’s more to the SteelSeries Arctis 7P wireless headset than just that so enjoy the video, let me know if you’re interested in buying the headset in the comments section below and don’t forget to subscribe to TheGamer for more gaming content.

As Kirk McKeand, the editor-in-chief at TheGamer, shows us, gaming and controversy just go hand in hand. Kirk got to look into the goings-on at one of the biggest Polish video game developers. In Poland, if you want to work for a AAA video game developer, it’s either CD Projekt Red or Techland. CDPR are known for their Witcher series and the mess that was Cyberpunk 2077 while Techland are known for their Dying Light series. It wasn’t until 2011 with the release of Dead Island that Techland would become a known commodity in the gaming industry.
The company quickly began spiralling downwards once development of Dying Light 2 began. Many members of the staff made some comments that were in poor taste when asked about the game, which led to negative press for the company that was completely warranted. CEO Paweł Marchewka is mainly responsible for Techland’s unorthodox work environment that doesn’t seem to respect boundaries and doesn’t seem to fit into the modern world. Questionable hiring decisions, unrealistic deadlines, radical brainstorming ideas, hypocrisy, you name it. Whatever the issue is, it’s never Marchewka’s fault when anything goes wrong at the company. There’s a creativity-killing vibe in Techland, but also a clear solution: get rid of the bad apples.
We’ll get into even more detail about Techland and all the controversy surrounding them in this video so we hope you enjoy it. Let us know what you think about Techland in the comments section below and don’t forget to subscribe to TheGamer for more gaming related content.”
