What do you think about Birth Year wathches? Passing fad, or worthwhile heirloom? I’m still not sure, but when you are born in 1975, there is inherent risk in finding one! For now, I’m happy with this retro reissue. Definitely the best Timex reissue that I’ve looked at so far, but then again, that isn’t really saying much, is it? Cheers, Jody

San Martin (say it how you like) are the best brand on Ali, I reckon, and these are two of their best watches. The Explore style one is an absolute stunner and I’ve been wearing it a lot since I made this video. I think I’ll pick up a sterile one for the full review video. It is that nice. Cheers, Jody

The third watch from the brand, an the one that I think suits the whole ‘tough titanium’ ethos the best. Don’t worry about the diameter, it really is a 42 that has just finished ‘chest day’ at the gym. Vintage salmon though? I’ll be asking for black. Cheers, Jody
