Steven Universe has enthralled Cartoon Network fans for numerous years with the great animation, catchy songs, and deep meanings behind multiple episodes. In a show that builds a long story over multiple seasons, we have seen all types of fan theories come to light over the years. Some of these theories are more out there than others, but anything can happen in Steven Universe.
A lot of the mysteries surrounding the world of Steven Universe involves Steven’s mother Rose Quartz. While Rose has been seen as a fighter, one theory states she is actually a great caretaker and even has healing powers to prove it. Speaking of Rose, Steven is essentially her entity, but did they actually meet one time? As a human hybrid, Steven’s gem power is pretty complicated, but what exactly would happen if Steven had his gem removed? Second generation gems are known to have no powers or weakened powers, but what if they have just been lied to for all these years? One of the more romantic parts of the show is the combination known as Stevonnie, but many theories have come up about their old age in this form. A big theory involves the temple statues and the combination of the four popular Gems on the show. The theory is all but true and pretty much confirmed by many fans of the series. Cross-Gem fusions have been banned by the diamonds, but not all of the reasons have been given even though there are some pretty convincing fan theories as to why they are banned.
