In the Munchies Guide to Christmas in Berlin, our Host Michel meets different characters of the city and explores with them their personal Christmas world. From the contemporary young techno kids, the rich and odd West Berliners, to the heartfelt and honest people of East Berlin – Michel will get a 360° insight into the different definitions of a christmas holiday.
Right at the start Michel spends a day with Simon and Tobias of the techno DJ and producer team “andhim”. It’s all Christmassy : First they bake cookies and decorate them in festive colors—German style. Then they go sledding and ice-skating and get “gemütlich” at a local Christmas market. Finally, the boys visit an aprés-ski hut, where they take a thorough look into the kitchen to watch their favorite Christmas dishes get prepared, and nom nom nom.
